Well, I've been thinking lately... I know, it's a seriously bad habit, but for those of you who know me or have read anything previous I've written on here will know that I am currently writing a book series.
Now, I enjoy writing it, I really d, but occasionally I burnt out doing it and it does quite annoy me when I can't quite get into the rythem again and begin thinking up other projects I can take up after I finish the Faerie-Tale series in like... 5 years (HA!)
This is a bad move, because eventually I'll burn myself out creatively for good, and then I though, hey, I like writing, I like video games, why not combine my love of the two?
No, no, I don't mean fan-fiction, I've tried that before... Twice, and each time it turned out horribly, what I refer to is, game reviews... Now, I couldn't do one of these fangled new video reviews for youtube or whatever as I'd seriously feel self concious, but writing them, I could do... and I could do it well (In my opinion).
I wouldn't just focus on new releases either (which are always prominantly gracing my collection), but I'd turn my focus on older games from time to time, like maybe review Streets of Rage or Pokemon red/blue or even Centipede for the Atari 2600... I still love the classic games, and for anyone interested in maybe buying classic games, I'd be able to point them in the right direction when it comes to searching for a classic to buy (though I don't exactly know if they'd be able to find the game though... that won't be down to me, I'm just gonna tell ya'll if it's awesome or sucks monkey ass!)
So there we go, my something different to try... Like anyone actually gives a shit!
